Whenever I have an idea for an animatic I would like to make, I sketch very rough storyboards to plan out my concept. This is a rough storyboard for an animatic based on the show, Hazbin Hotel, by Vivienne Medrano. I am still practicing storyboarding as it is something I’ve only recently started doing, but I am going to improve my skills with my own research and effort. One of the books on my reading list is ‘Framed Ink’ by Marcos Mateu-Mestre and I will study that to improve my knowledge of composition and visual storytelling.
