Originally, this drawing started out as a sticker design for one of my characters. However, the silhouette reminded of Yang Xiao Long’s hair in the show RWBY, so I tried redrawing the design to match this. I changed the rounded lines of the hair to be spikier and changed the parting to match the character. I wanted to try doing coloured line art for this illustration and I think that it gave it a softer look than using bold black lines.
