I did some studies of people dancing in colour pencil. I have always wanted to draw people dancing as I would also like to learn to dance. Drawing dancers is a very helpful exercise for me to practice exaggerating certain gestures. I’m very happy with the sketch of the woman dancing on the right; I think there’s enough movement and weight to her pose and I think I got the proportions right. I want to do more illustrations in colour pencil as I think it makes my drawing style more lively.
